The one dog Ballymac Jones has been ultra consistent of late and Pat Rosney’s runner can add to his impressive record this evening. This greyhound won over course and distance back in March and his strike rate makes him a great value bet at a stand out price of 3/1 with Paddy Power. Zenas Boy wearing the striped jacket looks the main danger from a plum draw.

This stayers event looks like a match between Bouncy Bocko and Farloe Tango on paper at least but I believe it might be dangerous to underestimate Droopys Xavier from trap four. 13/2 is on offer for this runner from the Gardiner kennel with Paddy Power and for me, that’s just a little too big. Droopys Xavier is an extremely consistent sort around this sort of trip and could well spring a surprise.

I cannot for the life of me understand why the six dog Soviet Military is such a big price for this William Hill Champion Hurdle final. Bet Victor go 9/2 about Ricky Holloway’s runner who is as short as 11/4 with bet365 which is more the price I imagined he’d be. I thought he was seriously impressive in the heats last week and has the best of the draw again tonight. Take advantage of Bet Victor’s pricing error.
