Handy means the greyhound was close up with the pace, and even away means it would have got away on terms/broke well. The other I don’t know I’m afraid!

Justin, IT is an Intertrack race which could mean 1 of 2 things. Either it ran in the Intertrack competition or a new trainer was grading dogs at Perry Bar from another track. It is most likely that it was an Intertrack Championship race.

Judy – Ck means ‘checked’, a term used when a dog slows up or halts its stride

Miss Kenny – HT stands for Hand Time meaning that there could have been a fault with their digital clock so therefore have to time the race/trial with a stopwatch

    R. Taylor – DINT stands for deliberate interference meaning that the dog has made a move towards another greyhound with no intention of sticking to its own racing line
