In some great news for dog racing fans in Australia, Sports Information Service (SIS) have agreed a deal with Sportsbet for the Aussie provider to broadcast UK and Irish greyhound content. Sportsbet will now show a total of 53 meetings per week from a number of different British tracks. While online gambling sa is a popular pastime in Australia, the wealth of greyhound racing content now available is sure to bring more attention to the sport. The tracks to feature as a part of this new deal will include Central Park, Crayford, Doncaster, Harlow, Henlow, Hove, Monmore, Romford, and Towcester. As far as Ireland is concerned, there will be Cork, Kilkenny, Limerick, Mullingar, Tralee, Waterford and Youghal.

SIS have an existing arrangement with Sportsbet to showing UK and Irish horse racing which has already proved a runaway success. There is a definite thirst amongst Australian racing fans for additional UK content and greyhound racing makes perfect sense. Australia have their own high class dog racing and alongside online pokies, Aussie greyhound racing has a huge fanbase. Coverage of the UK and Irish races will also be broadcast on Tabcorp’s (TAB) SKY Racing network via the provider’s app which will reach homes and other venues throughout Australia.
