Racing Post Greyhound TV (Sky Channel 212, or Freesat Channel 402) host two excellent greyhound racing cards this evening from Romford and Sunderland. The show gets under way at 7.15pm and runs right the way through till 10.45pm. This free to air channel now shows greyhound racing three nights a week, Thursday to Saturday! Both meetings feature plenty of open races for serious greyhound punters to enjoy.
9:40pm Romford
A quality looking open race here, the Chase Restaurant Stayers is run over 575m and there is £175 on offer to the winning greyhound. I’m a little disappointed to see that the Racing Post has napped Trap 4 Proper Cat this evening as I fancy this bitch strongly. 11/10 is still available with Betfred and I make this runner a definite bet at odds against. She was beaten here last time out behind Mark Wallis’ Ballintine Molly but prior to that had won two events in a row over course and distance. The sole wide runner Ayamzabeauty is the obvious danger but I think the black jacket will be too strong tonight.

8:26pm Sunderland
Sunderland’s card also features some top quality tonight and this particular contest looks like a mouth watering prospect. The front four in the market look to have little between them according to the bookies but I’m keen on the chances of the three dog, Julies Boy. This ultra consistent sort has won three of his last four starts over course and distance and was only beaten by a head in that one reverse. He looks to have a bit in hand over his five rivals here and I’m surprised to see 5/2 readily available. Julies Boy is my Nap selection for this evening.
