Tonight’s live RPGTV action comes from Monmore and Hove, with a total of twelve races on each of the cards. The pick of the racing comes from Hove, where their last eight races are all open contests. You can watch all tonight’s greyhound racing as it unfolds live on Sky channel 212 or Freesat channel 401. The show gets under way at 7:15pm and goes off air at 10:45pm. Darrell Williams will be presenting alongside Phil Donaldson and Pat Cooney.

The Coral Hove 475 is an open race event and is unsurprisingly run over a trip of 475m. The majority of the field are course specialists, but one greyhound travels over from Swindon to try his luck. The Kevin Hutton trained Bellmore Woody can be backed at as big as 7/1 with Betfred and after an impressive five and a half length win in A1 company round his own track last time out, that may not be bad value. Obviously, you’re taking his ability to handle this venue on trust, but I’m sure there will be punters out there that will be doing just that where the three dog is concerned. The black jacket Droopys Casspi looks an interesting contender having been stepped up in trip from 285m to this 475m distance just recently. He performed with credit earlier this month, finishing in second place over course and distance and could well build on that tonight. I personally think the Seamus Cahill trained Guinness Wild is one of the bets of the night. This greyhound has had a couple of spins at Romford recently but last time here on the 30th May, this greyhound won with relative ease in a time of 28.22s. Something similar should be enough this evening and he should have no problems getting to the first bend in front of the five dog. Betfred go a stand out price of 13/8.
Back Guinness Wild @ 13/8 with Betfred

A bit of a recovery mission for me here in the Coral Hove Ladies where I feel the one dog Princess Pati owes me after failing to land the odds when I backed her last time out! She trapped relatively well on that occasion but got baulked at the first bend and from there, her chance was gone. I feel she’s worth another chance tonight, she has clocked the best C&D time of all the runners, and also has the best of the draw in trap one. Betfredhave priced Norah McEllistrim’s runner up at 2/1 which is well worth taking as some firms go as short as 13/8. The bookies believe that the chief threat will come from my selection’s inside, with the bitch in trap two After Liz also being put in at the 2/1 mark. She won well last time out over course and distance in a time of 30.01s and Pati will need to be at her best to keep this smart runner at bay.
