Sunderland and Romford are where we concentrate our efforts this evening, as those are the venues where the RPGTV cameras will be heading, to cover two thirteen race cards. There are a total of eleven open races on the Romford card and there are some excellent looking contests due to take place tonight. You can watch all tonight’s greyhound racing live on Sky channel 212 and Freesat channel 401. Here are our best bets for this evenings RPGTV action.
20:50 Romford
This Star Cash Simon Centenary and Retirement Race is all about the three dog. Star Cash Simon put up one of his best performances to date last time out over the course and distance and connections will be desperate for their runner to go out on a high here tonight. In the contest over 575m last week, Kevin Boon’s runner flew out the traps and beat favourite here Janoan by a neck. However, the six dog did not get the best of runs on that occasion, and I’ll be surprised if the bitch in the striped jacket is not able to turn the form around. With a win and two seconds from her last three runs here, the six dog is definitely the percentage call. As short as 6/4 with Paddy Power, Ladbrokes go a stand out 5/2 about Martyn Wiley’s runner, and that looks a great value bet to me.
Back Trap 6 Janoan at 5/2 with Ladbrokes

A rematch from last Friday night here between the four dog Bishops Wood, and the one, Bubbly Rocket. I went with Bubbly on that occasion and although beaten half a length, I was still impressed with the way Paul Young’s dog ran on what was only his second start since June. There’s no denying that Bishops Wood is a very talented greyhound, and Ernie Gaskin is certainly getting a good tune out of the dog over this course and distance. I just feel that the 11/4 on offer with William Hill about Bubbly Rocket is too good to ignore this evening. This greyhound was gaining all the way to the line last week and a slightly betting start can see the red jacket home in front.
