Racing Post Greyhound TV kicks off at 7:15pm this Friday evening, with two cards 13 race cards from Romford and Sunderland for us to get stuck into! All of the races taking place at Romford are open contests, while Sunderland host some decent graded action. If you fancy watching tonight’s dog racing, simply tune into Sky channel 212 or Freesat channel 401. Betfair have kindly priced up all of tonight’s races at both tracks, and must be commended for doing so. Here are our best greyhound racing tips for Friday December 19th.
21:56 Romford
This race definitely looks at the mercy of trainer Mark Wallis, and I fancy his Aayamzaone to land the spoils with the minimum of fuss. Having been beaten in a sprint contest at Towcester last weekend, Aayamzaone returns to her favoured course and distance and a repeat of the form this bitch showed here on December 2nd would see her extremely difficult to beat. The only wide runner in the race, Aayamzaone can make the draw in trap six count. Hailing from the same kennel, Domino Storm wearing the red jacket could be the main danger but still has a lot to find with my selection going on her previous form here at Romford. I’m not sure I’d want to be getting involved at odds on, but Betfred go 11/10 about Aayamzaone and I’d expect her to go off shorter come race time.

22:26 Romford
Arguably the race of the night, this Weeknights At Romford Dogs Standard is worthy of a prize bigger than £200 and should be an excellent spectacle over this fast 400m trip. The David Pruhs trained Laughing Gravy was the 11/10 favourite on the tissue, but the bookies go as big as 7/4 about the five dog securing yet another open race success, and this multiple course and distance winner should hold sound claims. Last seen when finishing second at Yarmouth last weekend, Laughing Gravy lost lost little in defeat and is very rarely beaten when running here. That being said, I think tonight may be one of those rare occasions, as the three dog Dower Matt has been in such sparkling form of late. Ernie Gaskin’s greyhound has now won four on the spin over C&D and the 7/4 on offer at Ladbrokes is too good to turn down as far as I’m concerned. Bubbly Rocket is also a little over priced at 6/1 with bet365 but I fancy Dower Matt to make it five on the spin here tonight.
