There is some decent looking racing tonight on Racing Post Greyhound TV, with five open races at Henlow, and seven at Hove. You can watch all the action live on Sky channel 212 or Freesat channel 401. The show gets under way at 7:15pm and runs through till 10:45pm with a total of twenty four races being broadcast this Thursday night. Below you can find selections for all the early price races from both of tonight’s meetings. Good luck if having a bet and be sure to check out our bookmaker of the month Betfair who offer best odds guaranteed on all tonight’s races.
8:26 Henlow
On the tissue, Trap 3 Westmead Shaw was put in at 6/4 which made me slightly excited. Unfortunately, 4/6 was the first price I was with the bookmakers but Betfred do go 10/11 about Nick Savva’s runner which is a fair price considering this greyhound has been so dominant in his last three starts over course and dstance.

9:15 Henlow
A fairly open looking contest here where the six dog Savana Roberto has been put in as the 5/2 favourite. However, he was beaten fair and square over course and distance by Airforce Tom last week. While this runner from the Holloway kennel has a slightly less consistent profile, he’s definitely the value at 4/1 with Betfred.

10:18 Henlow
The final race on Henlow’s card and one where I feel it’s very hard to oppose Kelly Findlay’s Freedom Cache. I was expecting the four dog to be odds on but Betfair have put him in at 5/4 which rates decent value when you consider his level of form against this field.
Back Trap 4 Freedom Cache @ 5/4
8:18 Hove
Mark Wallis’ Bridge Ruth is the red hot favourite for this event following her impressive win over course and distance last week when clocking a tie of 29.61s. While a repeat of that would likely be enough to win again, I like the two dog here Larrikin. He’s won three of his last five starts over c&d and is certainly no mug. Take the 4/1 with Betfred.
Back Trap 2 Larrikin @ 4/1 with Betfred
9:24 Hove
The five dog is all the rage here but he just hasn’t been able to get out the boxes recently and has to be taken on at a short price for me. Barnish Booth coming out of trap three is the one who could well upset fav backers in this contest. He ran 27.90 when finishing third here in January and a similar effort might well be good enough. 4/1 is more than fair.
Back Trap 3 Barnish Booth @ 4/1
10:26 Hove
The final race on Sky tonight and once again I’m taking on the market hotpot. Paul Young’s Jaytee Hellcat is as short as even money with some firms and I just can’t be with a dog who appears to be struggling for whatever reason even if the talent is there. Killorane Comet coming out of trap one is a proven performer over this course and distance and is my final selection this evening.
Back Trap 1 Killorance Comet @ 9/4 with Betfred
