The action tonight on Racing Post Greyhound TV, Sky Channel 212, or Freesat Channel 402, comes from both Romford and Sunderland. The show gets under way at 7.15pm and runs right the way through till 10.45pm. This free to air channel now shows greyhound racing three nights a week, Thursday to Saturday! The thirteen race card from Sunderland features all open races, while there is graded action over at Sunderland.

The Chase Restaurant Trophy is an open race for bitches staged over the 400m trip, and features some top female greyhounds. Blue Glenard from trap five has been put in as the 2/1 favourite with bet365. This last time out course and distance winner clocked an excellent time of 24.12s here last week and has to be respected. She has actually won on six of her last seven visits to Romford but was beaten here in October by my selection for this evening, Slick Seamist. Keith Allsop’s runner has an excellent draw in trap one and can put a disappointing effort last time out behind her with victory here. The price of 3/1 on offer with Ladbrokes looks more than fair.
NB – Back Trap 1 Slick Seamist @ 3/1
10:11pm Romford
Another 400m contest here where I believe one greyhound is massively overpriced. Bet365 are the only firm to have priced this race up at time of writing, and they make the six dog Millwards Matt their 5/2 favourite. Admittedly, Paul Young’s runner has an excellent looking draw in trap six, but he was well beaten last time out against Isheforreal, and I don’t see that form being reversed tonight. David Pruhs’ greyhound has won on his last two attempts over course and distance and is my Nap of the evening at odds of 3/1.
Nap – Back Trap 4 Isheforreal @ 3/1
