Weather permitting, there are two meetings live on Racing Post Greyhound TV tonight for armchair punters to enjoy. Firstly, there are thirteen open races at Romford including the Coronation Cup semi finals, while Sunderland host some top class graded racing. Both meetings can be seen live tonight on Racing Post Greyhound TV, Sky Channel 212, or Freesat Channel 402. The show begins at 7.15pm and is on right through until 10.45pm. This free to air channel now shows greyhound racing three nights a week, Thursday to Saturday!

The first of three Coronation Cup semi finals tonight and I was very surprised when I saw the betting for this contest this morning. Ladbrokes and Stan James are both odds on about the two dog here Seals Babe but Bet Victor go a stand out price of 11/8 about Seamus Cahill’s charge. This bitch has won her last two starts over course and distance and couldn’t have looked more impressive when winning her heat here last Friday night beating Lanrigg Paddy by three and a half lengths. The biggest threat to the selection will very likely come from Be Real in trap one. Although I respect the chances of that dog, I think the 11/8 about Seals Babe is too big to ignore.

The third and final semi of the night features an intriguing looking battle two last time out winners. The bookies make Bansha Mo their 11/10 favourite, but I prefer the chances of Aghaburren Paddy tonight who is available at a best price of 7/4 again with Bet Victor. I opposed this greyhound last week and what a mistake that was. He was immense when winning in a quick time of 35.38s by five and a quarter lengths. Admittedly, Bansha Mo clocked a slightly faster time but I feel the draw tonight plays into the hands of the six dog and I think Paddy is likely to get the better of Mo this evening. Take the 7/4 while it lasts.
