Tonight’s live action from Racing Post Greyhound TV comes from Henlow and Hove. Just turn your TV to Sky Channel 231 or Freesat Channel 402 to see tonight’s exciting greyhound cards. The dog racing action is live every Thursday to Saturday from 7:15pm to 10:45pm. Greyhound racing is now free to air three nights a week and this is a great time for the sport.
Our tips have been going along very nicely indeed with four winning nights from four including two winners from three selections during Tuesday night’s live Sky meeting at Henlow. Hove is definitely the track to concentrate on tonight with 11 of their 12 races being open events. Henlow has just the one open tonight, their 8.26 contest the Bookmakers 550 Maiden.
One greyhound that has very much caught my eye tonight on the Hove card is a relatively lightly raced dog who has run his last couple of races at my local track Crayford. On offer at a best early price of 5/2 with bet365, the Jason Foster trained Jamaican Man has won his last three hurdle contests and the time he clocked at Crayford last week looks very good in the context of this event. While Baran Bally Hi does have the plum draw in trap 6, I believe the bookies have got this one wrong and Jamaican Man should be market leader rather than Kelly Findlay’s runner. My selection also has the beating of the six dog on a race at Hall Green in January although the Baran did find trouble on that occasion. This race goes off at 8.50.
In Hove’s 9.06 contest, I really can’t see past the favourite Farloe Iceman. He made up for his narrow defeat to Spinkys Nod at the end of January by scoring over course and distance earlier this month. I can’t see much in the field to trouble Matt Dartnall’s runner and the even money on offer with Ladbrokes should be snapped up as I can see Farloe Iceman going off a fair bit shorter. He’s already put in at 4/5 with bet365 and William Hill.
