This Thursday’s live greyhound racing action on Sky Sports 4 from 7.30pm features the final of the Ladbrokes Mobile Arc. Following his excellent display in his semi final last week, the Chris Allsopp trained Sids Dream is definitely the greyhound they all have to beat. Currently a 13/8 chance with William Hill to take the £8,000 Arc title, this lightly raced dog has won his last two starts over course and distance in very impressive fashion. He broke the track record in the quarter final and wasn’t far off his own time in the semis. Sids Dream has the early pace to lead his rivals a merry dance and is my fancy to win tonight’s big race en route to even better things. From a plum draw in trap 1, King Jaffa could well make up the forecast. Elizabeth McNair’s runner has already beaten both Sids Dream and Jazz Apollo in this event.

There is other exciting action elsewhere on the card with another seven races for fans of the live Sky dogs to get stuck into. They are all open races featuring some of the very best greyhounds in the country.
7.40pm
A difficult looking opener with the likely favourite the two dog Ding Hero. The value could well lie with Arc semi finalist Bit View Micko who seems a big price at early odds of 5/1 with Ladbrokes.
8.00pm
Another race where I think the favourite could well be worth taking on. Wise Totty is capable of winning over an extended distance but I think this bitch is beatable in what looks like an open contest. The two dog Maudabawn Jenny is on offer at 3/1 with Bet Victor and would be my selection.
8.15pm
Lil Risky has come right back to form in recent weeks but so has trap six Dynamo Joe. He was beaten by the favourite the last time they met but was finishing strongly after being crowded on that occasion and is the bet for me at 7/2 with Ladbrokes.
8.35pm
While Nick Savva’s Bubbly Swallow is certainly no mug at this level, I feel like he makes the three dog Ballymac Pet a more attractive price. He won in impressive fashion here last week and I think William Hill have given punters a gift with the 10/11. I’ll be very surprised if this greyhound doesn’t go off at significantly shorter odds.
8.50pm
Looks like another price mistake to me with the talented Longwood Fantasy on offer at 9/2 with Ladbrokes. I’d personally have this greyhound as more like a 5/2 shot and the two dog is definitely the best value play I have seen on tonight’s card at the current price. The favourite Droopys Lorenzo has won three of his last four starts but could well run into trouble in the shape of Go Go Sonic coming out of trap five.
9.10pm
Two dogs that contended last month’s Golden Jacket final at Crayford re-oppose here and it’s hard to see why Lottes Girl should turn round the form with Blue Bee and the 9/4 on offer with Bet Victor seems fairly decent as the four dog is only 6/4 elsewhere.
9.25pm
Westmead Adonis has been very successful since making the step up to open races but I prefer the chances of trap four Sawpit Sensation. This greyhound’s run here on the 8th of Feb was impressive and a repeat of that effort could well be good enough. He’s 5/2 with William Hill at time of writing.
