There is live coverage of Nottingham’s card tonight on Sky Sports 3 from 7.30pm. There are 8 live races being shown from the 12 race card. Coverage begins with the 7.40pm up to and including the feature race of the night, the Betfred Select Stakes at 9.45pm.
Trainer Charlie Lister has a very strong hand, with 3 of the 6 runners hailing from his kennels. Lister’s runners also occupy the first 3 positions in the betting. He obviously has strong claims of landing the £7,500 first prize.
The other big race of the evening is at 9.25pm, the Betfred Select Stayers Stakes. There is a strong favourite in Trap 3 in the form of Midway Skipper, who looks likely to go off at a shade of odds on. First place here is worth £2,500.
The other 6 live Sky races are all Open events with £1000 going to the winner, so it’s a very good quality card overall.
