It’s a Friday, so that means the RPGTV cameras will be heading to both Romford and Sunderland for two 13 race cards, including 12 opens from the London track. You can see all the action live on Sky channel 212 and Freesat 401. David Mullins, who has seven runners at Romford tonight, will be live in the RPGTV studio, and could provide some vital clues to the chances of his dogs. Here are our best bets for Friday February 20th.

This Text Dogs To 60006 Sprint is a 225m contest and features a couple of sprint specialists up against runners attempting the trip for the first time. The best place to start is with the six dog, Millwards Ozil who won well over course and distance last weekend and would appear to be well suited by this sprint trip if his trials and that victory are anything to go by. Millwards Ozil does not have the best of draws tonight however, and that is the reason Coral go as big as 5/2 about Paul Young’s greyhound. Towcester raider Drumsna Turbo is a very interesting contender and has some solid form from his time over in Ireland. My worry would be that this greyhound has not had a sighter here at Romford, and he may be better in the weeks to come. My gut feeling is that Millwards Ozil can overcome the wide draw and register back to back C&D successes.
Back Trap 6 Millwards Ozil at 5/2 with Coral

A wide open event as far as the bookies are concerned, this 400m race sees some very closely matched greyhounds do battle, but I think there is definitely some value to be had in the form of the three dog, Ilewin Potter. Available at 9/2 with Betfred, Phil Simmonds’ charge did it nicely here last time out and his numbers stack up well against the rest of this field. While there wouldn’t be much between the selection and Rio Minstrel on their running last week, Ilewin has got the better of the six dog the last twice they have met, and I fancy the white jacket to make it three from three here this evening.
