Arena Racing Company (ARC) have secured a deal with Sky Sports which will see greyhound racing broadcast with the satellite provider on a regular basis. Meetings from ARC and Greyhound Media Group (“GMG”) greyhound stadia will be shown on Sky Sports Racing (Sky channel 415) beginning Wednesday 3rd February 2020. While greyhound racing has been shown on various Sky Sports channels over the years, this type of sustained coverage is a real coup for the sport. Particularly during difficult times for everyone involved in the sport due to the pandemic and falling revenue. It appears that the coverage will begin at 6pm each day and conclude at the end of each meeting.
