Star Irish stayer Corporate Attack is to swerve the William Hill St Leger at Wimbledon in favour of staying in Ireland to take part in the IGB National 750 at Shelbourne Park.
Trainer of Corporate Attack Sean Mulcahy said;
“I’ve entered him for the Dublin race,”
“All things considered, there was just going to be too much hassle involved going over to Wimbledon, but I wouldn’t rule him out of running in England some time in the future. I gave him a trial at Limerick on Thursday and he did 28.84sec which would be good enough as he was up three or four pounds from his last race.”
The £13,000 William Hill St Leger closes at noon Monday and begins this weekend at Wimbledon.
