The Greyhound Oaks
The greyhound Oaks, or William Hill Oaks as it is also known, is a competition run at Wimbledon Greyhound Stadium in the month of December over a trip of 480m. The event was originally staged at White City from 1927 until 1958 then at Harringay from 1959 until 1987. Wimbledon took up the reins from 1988.
Bookmaker William Hill are the current sponsor of the Oaks and the prize money on offer to the winner is £6,000.
