The main aims of the Greyhound Board of Great Britain are to regulate greyhound racing as well as develop the sport commercially and guide its continued growth and development.

To confuse matters slightly, there is an organisation incorporated within the GBGB which is called the Greyhound Regulatory Body (GRB). The GRB have independent status and its key function include managing the rules of racing and setting standards for racing integrity.

Back any greyhound dropping from an Open race back into Graded company. The theory is any dog good enough for Open races generally with have more class than rivals in graded company.

BAGS Trap System
Back a particular trap number at different BAGS meetings, stopping at a winner. Examples with good records historically are trap 5 at Monmore and trap 2 at Sunderland.

BAGS Dutching Trap System
Similar to the last system expect you back two dogs to win rather than one. An example of traps that have performed well over time would be trap 1 and 3 at Hove or traps 1 and 2 at Crayford.

BAGS Favourte System
Another stop at a winner system. Simply back the favourite at any BAGS meeting until you hit a winner and stop at a set profit. It has to be a graded meeting due to the better prices for favourites. Very short odds on favourites at meetings with Open races make it unworkable.

With a bit of luck, your breeding venture will at worst pay for itself long term, but there are some start up costs involved initially.
